Office Seating – It’s Time to Splurge a Little!
Office seating is probably not high on your priority list, but maybe
it should be. My office chairs have always been bottom of the line
clearance deals from the local office supplies store. One was even a
garage sale find that sort of leaned to the left a little.
For the first time since working in my office at home, I bought
nice, comfortable seating. It’s a completely adjustable chair that
lets you independently raise the height and angle of the seat, the
lumbar and upper back of the chair, and even the arm rest levels. I
love this chair!
I’ve never been so comfortable at my office computer desk. I find
that I’m working more, I’m better able to focus for longer periods
of time, and I look forward to getting started everyday. Is this all
due to my seating? I think so. It’s the only thing I’ve changed, and
it makes a difference. Much more than I thought it would.
I’ll be honest. My wonderful new home office chair wasn’t cheap. It
was around $300 (free shipping online), but it was worth every
penny. In fact, I could justify it completely with the increase in
productivity I’ve had.
If you’ve never given much thought to the seating you use as you
work, it’s time you did. Buy yourself a wonderful new chair and use
your old one as a seat for visitors!
