The importance of bookcases in your office space

If you haven’t considered bookcases for storage and organization in your home office, you should rethink it.  You might find that bookcases are exactly what you need to clear off your computer desk and give your workspace more breathing room. 

Don’t think bookcases are just for books.  They are excellent places to store papers, letter trays, and software CDs.  Anything you don’t use every day in your office should not be taking up space on your computer desk. Use bookcases.

For a clean look, use baskets on your bookcases for storage.  Keep all of your office supplies stored there.  With one look, you will know what’s running low.

Use a label maker to organize your bookcases.  If several family members use your office at home, label where the paper, faxes, envelopes, and manuals belong.  There will be no question, and your work area will stay neater.
